Disney Employee Arrested for Impersonating FBI Agent

A Walt Disney World employee is accused of using a badge he bought for Halloween to impersonate an FBI agent and pull a woman over on the road. 

Brett Michael Smith, 26, said he saw a women hit an orange traffic cone when she realized the parking lot at Aquatica–SeaWorld’s waterpark–was full.

According to the arrest affidavit, Smith came to her window and flashed a badge and ordered her to pull over.  When the woman refused to pull over, Smith walked up to the car, showed his badge again, and told her he worked for the "FBI" and he's "over the police," pointing his finger and yelling at her to watch the "f*ck out."

An officer was on patrol sitting at a traffic light when he noticed the whole ordeal and approached smith and the woman.

When the officer confronted Smith, he presented a black leather wallet with a U.S. Dept of Homeland Security badge and identification tucked inside.

The officer himself initially thought it was real because it had his name and a microchip. But when the officer inquired of Smith’s employment status, Smith said he worked for Disney and got the badge and identification for Halloween.

Smith was taken into custody on one count of falsely impersonating an officer.
