HSI Recruiting Women Special Agents

WIFLE will host a career fair in support of the Homeland Security Investigations Women Only Announcement for Special Agents on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 4:00-5:30 PM.  This event is in anticipation of the hiring announcement scheduled for early May 2021.

Topics will include:
Requirements and conditions of employment
Background investigations, and issues that may prevent you form being hired
Polygraphs
Fitness testing, retesting and time-frames for retesting.  
The hiring process 
How the first duty location is determined.
The FLETC experience, brief outline of requirements and curriculum.
What the first year as a Special Agent entails.
What a typical day as a Special Agent entails.
Discussion career progression and career development opportunities.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and speak to female special agents.

This announcement is for new hires at the GS 5/7 level.
