The Way of the Future: Crime Gun Intelligence Center of Excellence

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) recently announced the opening of the Crime Gun Intelligence Center of Excellence and the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) National Correlation and Training Center II at Wichita State University this summer.

George Lauder, ATF Assistant Director of Field Operations, explains how this center will be at the forefront of academic studies, training, resource development, and investigative support focused solely on crime guns, gun violence and firearms trafficking.
