This Week on FEDtalk: New Beginnings for a New Year

At the dawn of a new year, celebrate new beginnings with FEDtalk this Friday.

For the first half of the show, host Nikki Cannon is joined by Joyce Warner of the Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund (FEEA) to discuss her new position as executive director. FEEA also recently opened its 2017 scholarship applications for children of federal employees. To date, the program has awarded $14 million in scholarships, and your son or daughter could be among the next class of recipients.

For the second half of the show, we’re switching gears to discuss New Year’s resolutions with Dr. Stephen Graef, a sports psychologist at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and D.C. entrepreneur and artist, Meg Biram. Learn how to put your bad habits in the P.A.S.T. with Dr. Graef and how to have “Your Ideal Year” with Ms. Biram’s two-week online course.

The radio show airs Friday, January 13, at 11:00 a.m. ET. On Friday, stream online at Federal News Radio, or tune in to 1500 AM in the Washington, DC area.
