United We Stand: Changing the Lives of Federal Employees
Need a lifeline? We’re here for you. Visit WAEPA.org.
The prompt for this round of the FEDforum is team morale. This week, hear from the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA).
Last year, the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) celebrated 35 years of standing with federal employees. During those 35 years, we have helped over 60,000 families with emergency hardship loans, scholarships, disaster relief, tutoring, and our other programs. We stood with federal families in the aftermath of terrorist attacks, natural disasters, government shutdowns, the COVID pandemic, and their individual illnesses and other personal tragedies.
We are proud of what we have accomplished, but there is always more work to do on behalf of federal families. FEEA is still the only independent 501c3 charitable organization supporting federal civil servants from every department and agency all across the U.S. We are the charity for federal employees and by federal employees. There are a lot of families who need our help. With your support, we stand committed to serving federal employees because we understand—sometimes, life can seem overwhelming.
It is a fact that most of us are under a constant state of stress right now which has a significant impact on our physical and mental health. We’re here to help with the information you need. #FEDLifeHacks is a collection of resources and advice on all aspects of life outside of work to help federal employees prepare for their future and stay balanced. Our collection include resources on:
FINANCIAL WELLNESS: meeting your financial goals and getting help
FAMILY: handling life events at all ages and stages
HEALTH & WELLNESS: taking care of your body and mind as part of daily life
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL GROWTH: advancing skills and knowledge for students, parents, and professionals
PERSONAL PHILANTHROPY & VOLUNTEERISM: serving the causes you care about
FREE TIME & FUN: making life more interesting
